Mystery Blogger Award 2

Last week I had a well needed boost from Chloe at Centre Stage, who nominated me for my second Mystery Blogger Award. Chloe’s blog has a little bit of everything, including travel, beauty and lifestyle, but it has a main focus on theatre, which is her biggest passion. There’s reviews and interviews from West End and Broadway shows, along with plenty of regional theatre stuff too. Definitely take a look at her fabulous blog, especially if you’re a theatre fan!

I was nominated for the Mystery Blogger Award last month, however I love doing these posts so I wanted to make sure that I answered Chloe’s questions. It’s also so lovely to know that fellow bloggers are enjoying my work and it makes me feel like I’m doing something right for a change, so a huge thank you to Chloe for nominating me!

The Mystery Blogger Award was created by Okoto Enigma, who explains it like this:

“Mystery Blogger Award” is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion.”

3 Things

  1. I’m ridiculously short sighted and I’ve worn glasses since I was seven
  2. My first job was at Woolworths – 6 months before they closed down
  3. A large number of my crushes are comedians…Russell Howard, Ed Gamble, Joel Dommett…I have a thing for funny men.

Chloe’s Questions

What’s your favourite gif or meme?
I bloody love a meme. I genuinely have spent hours getting lost on Pinterest because I’ve been looking at memes. The one that makes me laugh the most is probably this one:

If you’re a fellow meme fan I would suggest taking a look at my Shits & Giggles board!

You can pick one Disney character. Who do you choose and why?

This is so difficult because I have so many Disney characters I love. I think because The Little Mermaid is my favourite film it would have to be Ariel!

Do you have a favourite book?

As an adult it’s Mad Girl by Bryony Gordon, which is an incredibly honest account of living with OCD. My favourite book from childhood though is The Illustrated Mum by Jacqueline Wilson.

What was the first CD/tape you ever bought?

Out of my own pocket money it was the double A-side of Tragedy and Heartbeat by Steps!

Do you have one go to charity you’d like to raise money for?

There’s loads of charities that I’d love to support, but if I had to pick one it’d be OCD Action, which supports anyone who is affected by OCD. Check them out and give them some love!

My Nominees

I’m crap at nominating people for these, because there’s so many fabulous bloggers out there and I don’t want to end up bombarding people with nominations if they’ve already had the award before. So, I’m going to post five questions, and if you would like to answer them, feel free to answer in the comments or make your own post! 🙂

  1. Do you have a party trick/secret talent?
  2. When did you first realise you wanted to write your blog?
  3. What was your favourite subject at school?
  4. What’s your favourite piece of jewellery and why?
  5. Do you have any unpopular opinions? What are they?

My 5 Favourite Posts

My 5 favourite posts are listed in my first Mystery Blogger Award, which you can find here!

    1. Haha I chuckle everytime I see it! I’m curious to read some of Jacqueline Wilson’s newer stuff to see how it’s changed over the years to be honest! So glad you enjoyed and thank you for nominating me 😊 x
