Weekly Song Challenge: Round 1

I saw recently that my lovely blogger friend Liz, who writes the fabulous blog Anxiety & Liz, has started taking part in the Weekly Song Challenge (you can read her post here). She left it as an open tag, and because I love these sort of posts, I couldn’t wait to get involved!

I love music. Even though my tastes are incredibly varied (and often made fun of), music has helped me through a lot in life. In particular, Taylor Swift’s 1989 album was the soundtrack when my OCD was particularly bad. I tend to stick with what I know when it comes to music – songs that I can sing along to are mainly what I go for, but if I hear a new song that I like, it quickly becomes a regular part of my Spotify playlist.

So, what are the rules of the Weekly Song Challenge?

The rules are pretty simple:

  1. Copy rules and add to your own post, pinging back to this post.
  2. Post music videos for your answers to the musical questions.
  3. Tag two people to participate!

I’m going to aim to get these posts up every Sunday, in addition to my usual Monday and Thursday posts. At the moment, my intentions are good, but I’m not sure how well I’ll stick to them!

1: A Song About Wickedness or Evil

This was one of the most difficult choices. I tried to find songs in my Spotify library that fell under this category but nothing really seemed to work. Instead, I decided to go for a song by one of the most evil Disney characters.

2: A Song From an Animated Disney Movie

This 100% my favourite Disney song. It’s so upbeat and it comes from my favourite Disney movie of all time.

3: A Song That Is Spooky

I love Gaga. This is one of my favourite songs and it has such a spooky vibe to it. This was the song that officially converted me into a Gaga fan.

As Liz did in her post, I’m also going to leave this as an open tag. If you want to get involved, feel free to do so!
