It’s that time of the week again! Welcome to Round 5 of the Weekly Song Challenge. Now we’re getting into the swing of things, I’ve decided to put together my choices in a Spotify playlist, which you can find at the bottom of this post. For now, here’s the rules:
- Copy the rules and add to your own post, pinging back to this post.
- Post music videos for your answers to the musical questions.
- Tag two people to participate!
As usual, I’ve left this as an open tag, so if you would like to join in, feel free!
1: A Song That’s About Getting Spiffied Up
Not gonna lie, I had to Google what this phrase meant. I genuinely thought it meant smoking a joint. However, I’m pleased to report it means to get yourself looking stylish or attractive. With that in mind, I’ve gone for Cheap Thrills. It’s included in most of my ‘getting ready’ playlists and it really gets you in the mood for a night out!
2: A Song That Makes You Cry for No Particular Reason
This song. Oh my God. If you don’t know this song, watch A Star is Born and you’ll know why it’s so goddamn emotional. Watching Gaga perform this at the end of the movie had me in floods of tears, and even just listening to it at random gets me.
3: A Song That’s Great for Working Out
This song was a firm favourite on my running playlist. It’s not too intense or too fast, but it has a good enough beat that you can get moving to it.
