Welcome to Week 6 of the Weekly Song Challenge! To be honest, I’m surprised that I’ve kept things up this long. So, if you’re not familiar with this challenge, you can read my first post on it here. So let’s get cracking – usual rules apply, if you want to join in, do!
1: A Song by a Band with a Number in Their Name
Back when this first came out, I was obsessed with it. I have no idea why, I just thought it was a banger. One of Maroon 5’s more underrated tracks I feel. It’s boppy AF, and the music video for this sparked my crush on Adam Levine.
2: A Song by a One Hit Wonder
Does this count? I know they brought an album out but I think everyone would probably agree that this is the only song Wheatus are known for, right? This is one of my favourite songs of all time, and I don’t think I fully appreciated it when it first came out. It’s only when you’re hammered at 1am at a Propaganda student event that you fully realise what an absolute CLASSIC this song is.
3: A Song That Has a Number in the Lyrics/Title
Soz, Taylor appeared again. But this is one of my absolute favourites and it’s the perfect song for getting drunk with your girlfriends to.
