The Sunshine Blogger Award 4

Yellow Flowers

This is a long overdue response, but back in February I was nominated for my fourth Sunshine Blogger Award by the lovely Charlotte, aka The Wee Writing Lassie. You should go and check out her fantastic blog – her highly relatable rants are something I love especially while her short stories are equally as brilliant. Go show her some love! Anyway, let’s dive straight in:

The Sunshine Blogger Award is a peer recognition award that is passed around the blogging community, and it’s given to those who inspire creativity and positivity. It’s a great way to discover new blogs, and it’s also perfect for giving bloggers some appreciation. You could say it’s given to those whose blogs provide you with a little ray of sunshine!

Questions

Who is your favourite author?

As an adult, I don’t really have one believe it or not! I read a bit of everything these days, although I particularly love Giovanna Fletcher’s books!

If you could rule one of these five fictional/mythical lands: the Galaxy of Star Wars, King Arthur’s Britain, Westeros, Middle-Earth or Discworld – which one would it be and why?

Not gonna lie, I’m not really a fan of any of these. I guess if I had to choose it would be the Galaxy of Star Wars. Literally, the only reason would be because that gives me the highest chance of meeting Baby Yoda and giving him all the cuddles.

If you had the powers of a god, what would you do with them?

That’s a tricky one. At this present time I would probably go for healing people, but predominantly for selfish reasons. I can’t deal with all this coronavirus stuff right now and if I could make it go away with my god-powers, I totally would.

Which famous historical figure would you have round to dinner?

Freddie Mercury – is he historical enough? He was bloody legendary so I’d hope so. I feel we’d get on and bond over our love of cats.

You’ve been abducted by aliens and they demand they take you to your leader – who do you take them to?

Please. I’m my leader. They’d have to deal with me.

If you were trapped in a historical time (presumably your time machine has malfunctioned) what period would you be most likely to survive in?

Pretty much any period where soap and running water exists.

What’s your favourite kind of weather and why?

Always has to be sunshine. It always boosts my mood!

Chocolate or caramel?

Definitely caramel! Salted caramel is even better.

If you could turn into any mythical creature, what would it be?

Always a mermaid.

Who are you most grateful to in your life?

My Mum and my husband. Both of which have always stuck by me no matter what.

My Questions

As we’re well past the month mark since I was initially nominated for this award, I’m not going to nominate anyone specifically, because they’ve probably been done already. Instead though, if you’d like to nominate yourself (it’s always important to show yourself some love when it comes to your blog!), I’ve put some questions below!

  1. What’s your favourite meme?
  2. Do you have any hidden talents?
  3. Favourite subject at school?
  4. What would your superpower be?
  5. What’s your most prized possession?
  6. Favourite movie as a kid?
  7. What’s your favourite song at the moment?
  8. When do you usually get most of your blogging done?
  9. What is your favourite thing about your blog?
  10. Do you have any unpopular opinions? If so, what are they?
  11. Do you have any goals for this year? What are they?

A huge thank you again to Charlotte for nominating me for the Sunshine Blogger Award, it’s always lovely to know that fellow bloggers are loving your work! Go check out Wee Writing Lassie and give her a follow!

  1. I love the idea of healing people. I wish I had powers like that. I feel like if I could make people feel better both mentally and physically I’d feel more fulfilled.
It was lovely reading through this and getting to know you!
