I had a lovely surprise recently when Tom from The Doubting Thomas nominated me for the Ideal Inspiration Blogger Award. I hadn’t actually heard of this one before, so a huge thank you to Tom for the nomination. His blog focuses on family life and being a parent, and one of my favourite posts has to be A Letter to My Future Teenage Girls which is just the loveliest tribute to his daughters. Go check it out and give him a follow!

You can pick three celebrities (dead or alive) to join you for dinner. Who would you pick and why?
Taylor Swift, Paul Mescal and Russell Howard. Taylor Swift because she’s just goddamn amazing, Russell Howard because he’d be a huge laugh, and Paul Mescal for reasons which will have become apparent from my last few posts.
What is your idea of the perfect first date?
Probably just some laid back drinks – I think for me a meal would be too anxiety inducing! Our first date was watching Zack and Miri Make a Porno…which I would not recommend. We laugh about it now but it was awkward AF.
What would you do if you were successful at winning £1,000,000 on the lottery?
All the therapy! I would arrange for a shit hot therapist to sort me out once and for all – OCD, emetophobia, anxiety, general self loathing, you name it, it can all piss off. I’d also buy myself a new car, my Mum and Daisy a house, and I’d have an epic girls’ holiday to DisneyWorld with my friends, and a trip to New York.
What was your favourite subject at school?
Pre-GCSE, it was art. I loved it so much I ended up picking it for GCSE, but my teacher was (to sugar coat it) a massive bitch. She made me cry on multiple occasions and told me several times that I wasn’t good enough. Food tech was probably my favourite when I got to GCSE, even though I can’t cook to save my life (it was all in the coursework).
Is there one song that’s guaranteed to get you on the dancefloor at a party?
Absolutely – Shake It Off by Taylor Swift!

Here are my five questions:
- What has been getting you through lockdown? It can be anything – boxsets, books, new hobbies, whatever!
- What was your first job?
- How long have you been blogging for?
- What is the first thing you want to do when lockdown is lifted?
- How do you take your tea/coffee?
