It’s weird to think that I’ve now been blogging for 6 months. With that in mind, while I’ve talked a lot about various personal things, I haven’t really introduced myself properly. So, in the spirit of things, not only have I done a few updates to my About page, but I’ve also put together a list of random facts that hopefully you’ll find entertaining, or at the very least, they’ll give you a little insight into my weirdness.

I live in Bath with my husband and of course, Tilly, our cat.
I have a degree in Psychology and Counselling (bit of a sore point).
It took me 4 attempts to pass my driving test. It was over a span of 2 years and I passed 2 weeks before my theory test expired.
Since getting my first tattoo in April 2019, I now have 3 of them.
Frasier is my favourite TV show of all time.
When I worked at an opticians, I once had to leave a contact lens teach to go and throw up where I was so hungover. Ah Sundays. I’d love to tell you I was 18 and in the prime of life, but actually, it was two years ago after a family party.
When I was 16, I spent 2 weeks at a nursery for my work experience, even though I hate kids. I got ill after one week. I still hate kids.
My first job was at Woolworths. I worked there for 6 months before they went into administration. RIP Woolies.
I love medical documentaries. 24 Hours in A&E, Embarrassing Bodies, the lot. I find it fascinating.
I was obsessed with Steps when I was a kid. So much to the point that H was my first love.
I REALLY hate change. I’ve tried many times to grow up and deal with it, but I’m still working on it.
I didn’t get on a plane until I was 24, and that was after much persuasion from my husband. It was a 2 hour flight to Barcelona and I cried A LOT.
My favourite musical is Avenue Q. I can sing all of the songs word for word and I’m not even sorry.
I can cross stitch. I don’t do it much anymore but I learned as a kid through watching my Mum do it.
I’ve worn glasses since I was 6 years old but only switched to contact lenses when I was 22.
When I’ve got the time, I love to do scrapbooking. It calms my anxiety and it’s a great way to look back on your best memories.
I achieved an A in A-level in Food Technology – but I can’t cook. I mainly blagged the A through coursework.
As a child I was severely frightened of Wallace and Gromit. Not so much Gromit – it was mainly Wallace. I’m not entirely sure why, but for some reason I’m alright with them now.
I really struggle with being left out of things. I get really hurt by it and read WAY to much into it.
When I was 14, I was obsessed with Ant and Dec’s movie Alien Autopsy. It was slated a fair bit by the critics, but I loved it so much and at one point I watched it every day. To be fair, I still love it.

Of course there’s more to a lot of these facts, but I wanted to put something together that was fairly short and to the point. If you’d like to know more about any of them, leave me a comment and perhaps I’ll put the full story in a future post!
I am curious to know how old you were when you got married. Also, how did you meet your husband?
Do you plan on having kids in the future? I know many ppl who don’t want any kids. Honestly, I thought I wanted to be a pediatrics nurse and work with kids. Now, I want as far away from pediatrics as possible. 🙇♀️

I met my husband at secondary school, but we didn’t actually get together until we were in sixth form – we were 17 when we first started going out and we got married at 23!
I’m currently undecided on kids right now. At the moment a house is the main priority and I think we’d both like to get in a few more good holidays first! 😂
Is pediatrics what you’re working in now? Up until the whole nursery thing I really wanted to be a nanny or a childminder and looking back I don’t even understand why 😂🤦🏻♂️
Thank you for stopping by! Xx

Thanks for answering my questions 🙂 Oh wow – you guys were so young when you started dating! 23 is a good age to get married 👰
That’s really smart to figure out the big things first, like a house, and living life to the fullest before settling down. Nothing wrong with taking a few vacations (can never take too many imo) 😌
I was doing a pediatric rotation in second half of clinical and that’s what ultimately killed me. That semester didn’t end well and it went downhill really fast. Right now I’m not working and am still a student but can’t go back until January. A nanny sounds like a hard job…. personally, I couldn’t do it. I respect those who have the patience to work with kids!

I love these posts but can never think of enough facts about myself to do one 🤣 It took me 3 attempts to pass my driving test but I like to blame it on my anxiety and not my driving skills 🙃 Happy 6 month blogging anniversary! xxx

I love the name of your blog! So cute! I also like Frazier, my mum loves it too! My mum grew up in Wiltshire – Salisbury and I have family there too. I have one tattoo, but I want to get a few more. What tattoos did you get? Thank you for sharing! I like reading these posts as you get to know the blogger more xx

Thank you! It genuinely took forever to think of haha! I’m so glad you like Frasier, so many of my friends haven’t even heard of it! It’s been so long since I’ve been to Salisbury, I feel I need to pay another visit it’s so pretty!
Tattoos wise I have on my ankle which is the chemical symbol for serotonin and a cat (sounds a bit odd but you can see a pic on one of my previous posts!), I have “shake it off” on my foot (HUGE Taylor Swift fan and it’s a good mantra!) and I’ve got a seashell and a fork on my wrist which pays homage to my love of The Little Mermaid! I did think about waiting to get my next ones but I’d put it off for so long anyway I just thought I may as well go for it! What do you have?
Thank you for stopping by and reading 🙂
